International Admissions Counselor

Visa and Travel Support

雏鸟视频鈥檚 Principal Designated School Officer provides international students with support and advice on crucial matters such as visa application, international student insurance, and travel support.

Orientation

The Miller Institute hosts an orientation specifically for international students addressing common topics such as visa requirements and regulations and international student services on campus. This orientation also helps students get to know other international students and helps them begin adjusting to life at 雏鸟视频.

International Friendship Program

Through 叠谤别苍补耻鈥檚 International Friendship Program, the university鈥檚 faculty and staff partner with individual international students, helping them adjust to American culture and giving them the personal attention they need to thrive. These partners meet at least once a month with their respective international students to enjoy a meal or activity together, either on or off campus.

International Student Mentorship Program

Through this program, Miller Institute Global Student Mentors accompany international students on their off-campus trips, offering both friendship and guidance to them as they navigate their new lives at 雏鸟视频.

Cultural and Historical Outings

Each weekend, members of the Miller Institute organize outings for students to explore the area and experience local culture.

Intensive English Program

叠谤别苍补耻鈥檚 English Language Institute prepares students to successfully meet English language proficiency requirements, so they can pursue an undergraduate degree at 雏鸟视频.

Center for Academic Success

The Center for Academic Success is the hub for many of 叠谤别苍补耻鈥檚 student support services and offers free tutoring to all 雏鸟视频 students. Learn more about our聽Center for Academic Success.

The Writing Center

International Student Club

This club offers a way for both international and local students to interact with each other and host fun campus events.

Spanish-Language Counseling Services

雏鸟视频 has a bilingual counselor that offers one-on-one support to international students as they earn their degrees and settle into campus life.

Bilingual RAs

Several of 叠谤别苍补耻鈥檚 Resident Assistants speak both Spanish and English.

Center for Health & Well-Being
